Welcome to Open Studio Art Café – where the blend of art, music, and coffee specialties has created a unique spot on Liverpool Road south, along the Waterfront Trail in Pickering! Since Spring 2015, we’ve been the go-to spot for specialty coffee enthusiasts, cyclists enroute, art and music lovers, and anyone seeking a unique experience set in charming Nautical Village.
As a local independent café, we’ve survived, we’ve thrived, riding every wave to remain the steady heartbeat of Nautical Village attracting locals and visitors to the scenic waterfront of Lake Ontario.Our community has flourished, embracing a diverse tapestry of art forms while staying true to our roots of inclusivity and support.

“First time visiting the OpenStudio Art Cafe. Hip, trendy Cafe with various pieces of paintings on the wall. Welcome greeting and friendly patrons both inside and out. Ordered the peach iced tea. There wasn't enough for a full cup, which was slightly disappointing however it tasted great and I enjoyed the fact that it appeared unsweetened as I don't put sugar in teas and coffees. Great views and patio. Multiple menu options, hot, cold beverages, snacks and sandwiches..”

“Very nice little spot by the waterfront. Decor is nice and art surrounding the walls. Host was nice and offer a variety of options. I had an iced coffee and tried some other drinks. The drinks were pretty good and they use paper straws to boot. Having Lake Ontario right outside gave us a nice walk with our drinks”
